"I am currently a second year Fine Art student at Leeds Arts University with an artistic practice heavily based in moving image. I like to find beauty in abstract shapes and colours, often working with language and literature alongside my film-making by writing poems, scripts and texts to incorporate into the visual side of the work. I enjoy making more experimental and conceptual work, relying heavily on theory to inform and contextualise films- recently, I have been engaged in the study of literary theory which has helped bring an interesting balance to the aesthetic nature of moving image, and I make much of my work around the themes of self-image and the unconscious- I try through my work to represent something that is unexplainable, or hard to put into words."
