"I am a student artist currently based in London, with a keen interest in photography,  fine art and installation work. Though I primarily use the camera, I love experimenting with alternate installation techniques, such as sculpture,  using liquid emulsion to print photographically onto physical objects, or developing my film in natural, found materials. My favourite artists tend not to be actual photographers, instead I get my greatest inspiration from works by fine artists like Olafur Eliason and Anselm Kiefer.

My end goal with most of my work tends to become localised to a certain area or feature. I get addicted to exploring one topic or location, and how I can represent and present this research and work in a way that incorporates its roots.

My work tends to look more introspectively, either exploring my own emotions and experiences, or studying what makes us human. In particular I’ve recently been fascinated in how we can compare human nature to our physical surroundings, with a project on the cave, in the physical and philosophical sense. I’m currently very inspired by the writing of Georges Perez, and would love to explore these ideas further, focusing less on the human aspects, and more on how I can solely use landscape and our physical surroundings to represent certain themes that may or may not be human based.

My way of working usually consists of a long research stage, before even starting to make work, where I explore context and reason behind the work I’ll later create."
