Caitlin Leach is a French and British photographer and visual artist, currently studying at the London College of Communication. The photographic series on display aims to throw the viewer into a world that seems ever so slightly uncomfortable and distorted from reality. The project is based on Robert Anton Wilson’s theory of Reality Tunnels, using a tongue-in-cheek approach to make you question just how subjective reality is. How we are nothing but the culmination of our thoughts and actions, resulting in multiple reality tunnels unique to each individual as we collectively navigate through our environments and systems.

“In a far away dystopian land, I present to you the dude who wakes up at 6 AM every day to go work in an office in Canary Wharf. He’s shagging his assistant and his kids hate him but he spends all his money on his wife’s new cream sofa and glass-ware set. The singular moment of peace he gets is his morning shit after breakfast before he leaves in his really ugly Mercedes Maybach 57.

But he doesn’t choose this life. He’s nothing but a small cog in the simulation.

God is having fun up there.”
